ABOUT
We have been established since 2012 and operate as a small early learning facility. We are licensed for ages 12 months to 6 years not in kindergarten.

Future Beginnings Childcare Center provides a quality childcare and preschool program in a positive, safe and healthy learning environment where children feel safe and free to explore materials and relationships. The program is designed to help meet the needs of your child in the following areas; social, emotional, physical and cognitive. We believe children learn best through interacting with their environment, nurturing, and daily routine. Your child will have daily opportunities to build their small and large motor skills through direct teacher initiated activities and child initiated activities. Your child will be encouraged to make decisions on his/ her own, use creative thinking and explore their learning environment while building their self- esteem.
Future Beginnings Childcare Center operates under a philosophy that children need to be treated with warmth and respect. Personal attention to each child is important to providing quality experiences for all children while in our care, including children with special needs. We strongly believe that early learning is about the whole child. During their first years they are developmentally like sponges learning to develop their fine/ gross motor skills, social and emotional skills, language and their cognitive abilities. What they learn and experience in their first few years helps lay the foundation to how they learn in the years to come.

Our teachers are passionate about the development of each individual child. They all find pride in their profession and know that these children are the future of this world. We as a team have an understanding that we have the honor of laying the foundation of the children's futures who pass through our care. We utilize a curriculum called Experience Learning to build upon each child's individualized needs. This curriculum is designed to draw children in with interesting ideas and hands on activities. We want them to learn at their own pace and be enthusiastic learners. This gives them a great sense of self confidence and awareness. Children learn best by doing!

Meet Our Teachers:

We pride ourselves in our low turnover rate. We are a small facility with dedicated staff that enjoy the growth and development of all of the children that come learn with us!

Lynaya is the Director of our wonderful facility. She has been in childcare for 20+ years and has a huge heart for children. She couldn't imagine doing anything else. She helps out and provides support to our other lead teachers every day ensuring their success in teaching. She helps with assessing children's progress, ideas for lesson planning, and documentation. Lynaya is also going to school at SPSCC and is working towards her AA in Early Childhood Education.

Our lead Toddler Teacher, Cyndi, has worked with our littlest children for 2 years. She has obtained her bachelor's degree in early childhood education and has worked in childcare and in the K-12 school districts. She enjoys the challenge of creating new ideas to strengthen the children's abilities and loves when they catch on to these new concepts and grow.

Our Co-lead Teacher, Katie, has been with us for 11 years now! Katie has an absolute love for children and is excited to teach them every day. The children love to play with her and find her relatable on their level. She loves working with the kids every day!
Our Lead Preschool Teacher, Kira, has been with us for a year now and loves working with any age group. She has worked in childcare for 2 years down in Oregon and has moved to Washington to begin a new path in life. Her ultimate goal is to own her own in-home center or small center in the future.
Grace is the newest member of our teaching team. She assists in both classrooms but spends the majority of her time with the preschool classroom. She adores the children and is very excited to be working with them.
